Todays buyer is very choosy and likes to have a home that is in the best condition. A house that is well maintained, painted, and presented well has more chances to be chosen by the buyer at first sight.
The picture is worth a thousand words and should be taken once your home is delicately staged for showing. The pictures must be taken by a professional photographer, or if not possible then by a realtor who has good panoramic camera. A panoramic camera has the ability to display all the rooms of the house, and can make them appear bigger than their actual size. You might have a gorgeous home, but a buyer will not pick it unless you have posted quality photos on the internet. Lacklustre descriptions and bad quality pictures will eliminate all your chances of selling your house.
You can work along with your agent and make a list of all the features of your house describing them in an appealing way. Virtual tours can help your cause. Some of the buyers dont even consider house without virtual tours. A complete 360-degree virtual tour can really project the true essence of your house and encourage the buyer to go for it.
All these methods are going to help you get more exposure for your property, but dont think internet marketing is going to fix all your problems like magic. Other more traditional methods like open house and marketing through real estate agency will still play an important role and should continue alongside.
